Let’s grow together from Good to Great! . . .
Kiwanis International President Sylvester Neal, a former fire chief, invited all of us to set out to light the fire for Kiwanis, to help build our own fire, and together, ignite the flame for others until we have a raging bonfire. He believes that “we have what it takes - that burning passion within each of us to make a difference.”
From this foundation, KI President-designate Alan Penn sets the Theme for AY 2011-2012: “Building our Legacy through Service.”
It perfectly fits our thrust and the dream we are trying to realize in the District which focuses on building The Kiwanis Center, a Legacy to improve Kiwanis Service from Good to Great!
It has been said time and again, that the World is what we make it. It starts on what we make of ourselves. Let’s focus on the Mission and Vision, and not on personalities. Then, we will become True Kiwanians! Kiwanians by heart, in words and in deed. Let’s capitalize on our differences to do things from Good to Great so that we can help more, those who are greatly in need, the underprivileged children.
A child’s SMILE be our best reward!
